The 1800TISA was produced in 1965 specifically for works team in the mid-1960s. Only 200 such cars were built featuring twin carburetors, a higher compression ratio and a five speed gearbox. The 130bhp TI/SA won many races including a second place finish the 24 Hours of Spa. Hubert Hahne also won the German national championship in 1964.
The car was based off the standard based on the 1800TI (Turismo Internationale) and upgraded to SonderAusführung specification by the factory.
