
Jaguar XK120 by Oblin 1951 RHD For me as a Belgian classic car specialist it was a huge pleasure to be able to secure this famous and unique XK120 with “strong” Belgian history. – Chassis n° 660751 also known as L.T.1 was one of the 3 chassis (LT1 – LT2 – LT3) destined to carry a lightweight body and reserve cars for the 1951 Le Mans. – Went from the Jaguar factory straight through Belgian Jaguar importer Mme. Bourgeois to Martial Oblin coachbuilder in Brussels. – 2-nd in class in the 1951 Li ège-Rome-Li ège with Jacques Herzet – Georges Baudouin team. – Tour de France 1952 with Jacques Herzet – Lucien Bianchi team. – Alpine Rally 1952: 3-rd in class – Monte Carlo Rally 1952: 3-rd in class. – Lyon – Charbonni ères 1952 – Brussels Motorshow 1952 – Louis Vuitton Classic Parc de Bagatelle Paris 2000 – Pebble Beach Concours – California USA – 2001 It was evenso an honour to place this fabulous XK in the Jaguar collection of one of my very loyal customers.
