Lamborghini recently unveiled the V12 Vision Gran Turismo concept car at the FIA-Certified Gran Turismo Championship in Monte Carlo. The car will not actually be made into a real production car, but it will be put into the Gran Turismo Sport game for the Playstation 4.
The wild single-seater Lamborghini hypercar is almost overly dramatic even for a car company known for building outlandish and over-the-top supercars. The car looks like a four-wheeled rocket. We wouldn’t be surprised to see this car in a sci-fi movie sometime. It is powered by a hybrid powertrain that gets a 6.5-liter V12 that’s paired with a mild 48-volt hybrid system. It makes 819 hp and 602 lb-ft of torque.
The car offers a wraparound windshield and wheels that stand out like they’re on an F1 car. There’s a low front splitter, exposed suspension, and a large fixed rear wing as well as odd Y-shaped LED lights upfront and in the rear. The car has a mix of dark green and gold and looks absolutely amazing from every angle.
In terms of the cockpit, the car features a racing-inspired interior that reminds us of a fighter jet cockpit. There’s a massive head-up display and what appears to be either a screen in the middle of the steering wheel or a holographic display. The steering wheel itself is a open at the top and features a variety of buttons and dials to each side. This car is straight out of the future and absolutely awesome.
