Alongside the V8 Vantage Le Mans, Aston Martin announced the DB7 Vantage Volante at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show. Much of the car was similar to the Coupe version, but the Vantage Volante featured stiffer suspension.
The model was a complete success story, particularly in America which helped propel sales up to 2046 examples.
Like the DB7 Vantage, the Volante featured Aston Martin’s top V12 engine that was capable of 420 bhp.
